We come from all over the world to this place. We are connected by our community, our safe haven. The place where we don’t have to hide and we can be our true selves. We can show what our hearts and minds and other places need and want.

We are moms’ and dads’. We are singles, married folks wanting to spice things up, we are unhappily married people wanting a distraction. We are from all professions, military, Leo’s, stay-at-home parents, whatever we are, this is our place to be free from the daily grind.

We can be meme creators, gif makers, writers, photographers, exhibitionists, Dom’s, Subs, Littles, Middles and Bigs. We can be kittens and tigers and unicorns and other cute and fuzzy creatures of our own desires.

We come here looking for something more, whatever the reason. What we find is a worldwide family. We stick up for each other and take on the trolls. We band together if one of us is sick or needs prayers. We come together and we support and give appreciation. We stand side by side on this app or page and we connect. We find solace in the fact that we aren’t alone.

We look for inspiration in beautiful photos, the written word, beautiful smiles, Mom Bods and Dad Bods. We find people who actually do care about “the community” and write great advice and pass it on to others so that we can all learn. We learn to love our bodies just the way they are and if we want to make our bodies better, well we have help there too.

What may look like a passing fancy to some has become an addiction to others. We can find people who are extroverts, ambiverts and introverts. We have happy go lucky people, we have people who are having a tough go at things, but no matter what, we are friends.

We may start out tentatively, saying thanks for the follow, maybe an ask or anonymous message to light the path of the conversation. What we end up with is friends all over the globe. People we drive and fly to meet. We find out there are followers in our hometowns and meet and have lunch or go and hang out with them.

We connect and that connection is priceless! We may lose some along the way and they will be sorely missed. There is never a dull moment if the trolls stop by, but the love and support that is shown, stops those trolls and sends them packing, back to their underground basements.

We are love and light, support and friendships, we are lovers, we are fighters, we are survivors, we are truth seekers, we are dream catchers and dream weavers. We are The Tumblr Effect.
